Josine is an intellectual property lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience at various top tier law firms. She is a specialist in trademarks, designs, copyright, unfair competition and media law. Josine has vast experience in litigating before national courts and European institutions like EUIPO and the Court of Justice of the EU. She regularly litigates applications for injunctive relief and is particularly experienced in defending media companies in time-pressured free speech and defamation matters. Her experience as a trainee judge gave her valuable insights in how the judiciary works and made her an even better litigator.

Josine also provides strategic advice on protecting and enforcing intellectual property and on IP portfolio management and regularly negotiates and drafts IP related agreements.
